Martinez, Aug. 14, 1912 Darling Helen, It is delightful to see your handwriting once more to learn that you are getting
strong. Who would have thought of Buel taking cold. Anyhow the blessed desert will soon heal him. I'm going to take a little
trip to Shasta Springs with Herrin for a few days. Don't know yet how long my notes will keep me puttering here. Be very
