2 very welcome. We had thought to see Joanna and her girls here, but her last letter brought the news that they had decided
to return to Virginia. The folks there thought that going to Calif. was going too far away. She thought they might perhaps
come in 1915. She was with Mary at the time of her writing. I think Bessie was still in Lincoln with Dan's family but it
is some time since the letter came and if they 3 are home again we have not heard. We are all in usual health here. The
vacation time passed pleasantly with Kenneth at home but now he is back and busy with his school work and other work about
the farm in between. Marjorie too finds plenty to do with her school work and helping at home. I have had two newspapers
