4 the baby, it is a pretty good one. She is thriving first rate, and has got two teeth she can not stand alone yet but she
can clap her hands and chatter her own way finely. Anna George are at school and are getting along finely. The only thing
I feel sorry about leaving Portage for is on account of the school and church, but there is a very fine school house deleted
about 5 a little more than half a mile from our home just in sight they have generally a good teacher there, there is four
months teaching this summer and then there is preaching every Sabbath just now. David is on the Farm? all the time just now,
he has bought horses and is helping to put in the crops so as to get some extreis done that would otherwise have been left.
Of course you know that Maggie is away to the Water Cure? . John had a letter from her last Friday she feels as if she had
got to the right place, and thinks if she does not get better there she will not get better anywhere. She is forbidden to
write much so that I suppose she hardly does to any one except John but you must write to help to keep her from wearying I
will send her address I have not felt strong at all this spring. it takes very little to tire me out. I saw? Father today

There is nothing but changes Dan, David did hear of more land for sale and bought it too. I suppose you have heard this that
all of our old Farm is sold and who bought it not Mr. Ritchards we have never head another word about him although he promised
faithfully to come but of course that is no matter now. When we came down here in the fall I had no thought of moving for
sometime at least but here we are just on the point of pulling up Write me at once Dan and tell me how you are getting along
