Portrait of Benjamin Dreyfus, a pioneer Jew of the west, co-founder of Anaheim's first general store with August Langenberger in 1858, Anaheim's largest wine producer (over 800,000 gallons in 1880), served on Anaheim's city council in 1880 and was elected mayor in 1881 and 1882, first presidend of the Anaheim Union Water Company and one of the first oil refiners in the Southland; image shows bust-length view of Dreyfus mustache and goatee, wearing a dark suit, light shirt and dark bow tie; "Ben. Dreyfus" is handwritten on the image above his head.
