This is the head of the lovely Loch named by Sir Walter Scott [as] Loch Cataran, or the loch of the robbers, is about five miles thro [through] Glen Arklet to Inversnaid on Loch Lomond, a territory associated with the MacGregors, particularly with Rob Roy.
