converted military housing into family units for veterans. Keppler Grove consisted of 84 units that were formerly barracks
for the Women's Army Corp., located in Banning Park, Wilmington, Los Angeles, California. The development was named for Boatswain's
Mate Rinehardt Keppler, a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor.
