Cover of pamphlet promoting Jerry Rubin for mayor. Rubin ran as an independent radical. Stew Albert co-wrote the brochure,
sent to all households in the city. The incumbent Wallace Johnson, a moderately conservative Republican, won. Fred Huntley,
placed third. Peter Camejo, Young Social Alliance, placed last. After the election, Rubin left Berkeley and resumed his antiwar
