Description:
Dos Cabezas was a railroad station which offered trains going to Arizona until it was abandoned in 1958. The name Dos Cabezas
is Spanish for “two heads,” and refers to the two large rocks piles at the site which resemble heads. The railway station
is located inside the Anza—Borrego Desert State Park and is currently unoccupied though visitors can drive out to see the
remains of the depot and the bridge.
