First draft of letter, in note-book March 13, 1905 Dear Mr. Fiske: Your letter of March 6th to our friend Keith he has
forwarded to me. I don't believe there is the slightest danger of your being turned out of Yosemite Valley. If only one ph
otographer should be left in the Valley, I think every right-minded person in the country would agree that you were that one.
It seems to me unlikely that any great changes will be made in Yosemite management during the coming season. But anyhow, whenever
a good word from me can be of any service to you let me know, and I will gladly say what I can. Your business after recession
is sure to increase from year to year. Heartily wishing you success and good luck. John Muir Mr. Geo. Fiske, Yosemite,
Cal.
