letterhead June 12, 1911 Darling Helen, I've been been? up here in wonderfully fine Catskills at the magnificent summer
home of the Harrimans a few days am going back to the city house this evening Have been at work on Yosemite book. Received
your fine cheery June 5 letter 3 days ago. All goes well though I see lot of work ahead The weather is not oppressively
hot in the spacious Harriman mansions. I saw Mr H's doctor who winked so much encouragement when you were so sick in the
Los Angeles Hospital. He was glad to hear you were now so merrily well. Ever devotedly John Muir
