San Francisco, Jan. 6, 1910. Dear Mr. Muir, Your esteemed favor of the 3d. inst. was duly received and thank you very
much for your kind New Year wishes. As to the photographs of the Kern etc. you say of just having received, I desire to inform
you that I am not the guilty party; but as to mine which you received some time ago, you may use them for illustrations, and
if you desire any further assistance, I am at your service as I still have the negatives. Regards the Hetch Hetchy I am boosting
for it's preservation at every opportunity and look forward at some future time to camp again amidst it's charming scenery.
I am studying at the Mark Hopkins Institute to become an artist. Wishing you the compliments of the season, I remain Sincerely
