for some time back. David has bought a nice light wagon and we have a fine quiet mare that he can bust me with so he says.
I must ride out myself and get strong but I doubt I will not go out much alone. I have not seen mother or the girls but once
since you left I believe the girls were up at the Farm at their vacation but the teams were so busy getting in the spring
crops they did not get over I expect to be over to see Maggie soon I believe her health is a good deal better than it has
been she is not so nervous her little Jessie is a very fine quiet baby I think she will be prettier than her little Annie
yet the two big oak trees in front of the house are cut down and the rows of apple trees filled out there is a good deal of
blossom on a good many of the trees, if you only saw the two that are left of what Father put in away out from the stables
they are fairly covered with blossom I have locust seed in to make a hedge round two sides of the orchard the west side I
put in last year they grew finely? if we? are hire David means to put in a tame poplar? one up from the gate on the south
side that is about all the news I illegible about by the way I told you in my last letter about James Whithead being so sick
he is going round now pretty well be sure to write soon . May God bless you and keep you safe from all harm is the prayer
of your affectionate Sister Sarah M? Galloway
