Home July 7, 1914 Darling Helen, I am so glad to get your two last letters written by your own dear hand telling all's well.
Be careful not to try to write too much. Wanda got home day before yesterday learned the great news, I made her promise to
write. I'm sending some addressed envelopes to lessen the trouble of your daily reports. Is there not something I can send
that you would like? If so let your devoted father know. Everyday I pray God bless you.
