letterhead Ann Arbor 10 Sept., '13 Mr. John Muir San Francisco Cal. Dear Sir:- I appreciate your sending me
that circular letter about the Hetch Hetchy vally and have written Senator Townsend expressing the sentiment of feeling against
the grab. You will do a great work if you can stop it. I trust you may succeed, for it would be an outrage to have that beautiful
