2 weather has been warm for six days. Aunt Margaret has been here all day and seems to feel pretty well now but they still
expect to take her to Pacific Grove. I do enjoy my Botany so much I have analigzed a good many plants but it is hard to get
them for the hills are so dry, I could find some composity but of them are for me yet, I learn some Bible verses day and also
a little poetry nearly every day. We are all delighted with Miss Blaisdell she is so nice and gentle. Helen especialy thinks
so much of her. Helen I think is learning very fast, she has four studies, and she likes them all very much. There are some
nice ripe peaches but the pears are not ripe enough to eat although they are shipping them up North 3 You say that the
people listen with wonder at the tales of California, but no wonder they do for of course it seems just the same to them as
it does to us if you talk of Scotland or Norway. I wish it were possible to get a plant of Heather but I suppose it would
be hard to do. Helen says she just wants her own dear Papa to come home she was saying she did so want the grape time to come.
I asked her what she wanted the grape time to come for when she had peaches and pears she said why dont you know why? Papa
is coming home then . Lou is going back to school next Tuesday. I have fifteen studies counting my 06342
