about here lately - a few weeks ago Mr M illegible and Mr Mc illegible aith met - and had one of their long talks - when Mr
M illegible took suddenly ill and died the same week - and Mr Mc illegible aith took the same disease on Monday last week
and was buried on Saturday, and Mr Reeves was buried last Sunday - these are three of the old settlers that came about the
time we did - this seems like a loud call for us to be ready - 3 we have been expecting Anna home for a few days past
- but I am glad to have Joanna at home but she is rather lonesome, she has received your letter, she received a letter from
John yesterday, he is quite well, and still resides in the beautiful valley how pleased I am to think that the sun of happiness
shines upon him for the present - I hope it will continue - I have just been told that Mary expects, to be home in a few weeks,
we will be glad to see her, she has been absent about a year - Margt and Sarah and David M. with all deleted their families
