Cotton Ball with Boll Weevil on Surface. Keystone photographer, Harry, Sampson, picked this boll in Texas when it was partly opened and brought it to Meadville for display. It opened en route, with then exception of one section which had been damaged by the boll weevil. When the damaged section was inspected in Meadville, the boll weevil was found.
