Hill Girt, Feb. 8, 1903. My Dear Mr. Muir, One day last week I was calling upon your sister, Mrs. Reid, and we were talking
about Annie Muir, and she was saying you had a copy of a good obituary notice, clipped from one of your home papers. Now I
would like very much to see that, and if you will mail it to me, I will take the greatest care of it and will 03160 2
return it promptly- You know how much we all thought of Annie. For several years after he return to Portage we corresponded
occasionally- and I have now, standing on my mantel, a little memento she gave me when we parted. Of her philanthropic work
I had not heard till I talked with Mrs. Reid. We are all feeling grave just now for, at last, after all she has been through,
Mrs. Drahms does seem to be really at the point of death. 03160
