the first thing that my dear wife handed me was your letter, the two beautiful books you so thoughtfully sent me. I shall
have real pleasure in reading them. Dear Mr Muir, I learned valuable lessons from you the past summer, one lesson was, to
spare the beautiful birds and animals. I put it into practice at once, for when? I had bade Mrs Harriman the young people
good bye, I hastily superintended the storing of things away at the Lodge, for the winter, I packed my roll 04300
