visit you all but it isimpossible for me to do so, I am so overloaded with work. If my visits are few and far between, so
also are yours, in feat none office scattered family ever come to visit me. I suppose for the same reason that you are not
able to do so. Yon have no idea what a lot of work I have on hands; Tho book you referred to, Yosemite, is easily obtainable
from any of the booksellersAnother book, first volume of a sort of autobiography, will be out in the spring. Am now at work
on an Alaska book and others Have notes enough for more than a hundred volumes, but of course I wont live long enough to writ
that many. Am always glad to hear from you and to get news of all the family. Ever your devoted brother. illegible
