View of the City's concrete water tower under construction circa 1907; Municipal Light and Water Works plant in Anaheim, established 1895, relocated from 119 West Cypress Street to this site at 518 South Los Angeles Street (later Anaheim Blvd.) in 1907; image shows exterior of the reinforced concrete elevated water tower, the first of its kind in the United States, which was 100 feet high and held 173,000 gallons of water; it was demolished in 1953.
