March 24th, 1890 Dear Mr. Muir,- I inclose a copy of Mr. Olmsted's letter in reply to Governor Waterman. This letter has
been published during the past week in the New York Evening Post. I also inclose a copy ofVanderveer's bill, the only fault
of which is that the limits of the new Park are too narrow. Yesterday's New York Times published the, fifth(inclosed) letter
from Mackenzie confounding Waterman, and the New York Sun of March 21st contains an editorial appealing to the independent
