Home May 27, 08 Darling Helen - I'm so glad you are enjoying bright vivid life as your letters show, the bodeful cough
gone side pains going, soon I fondly hope bodily weakness of every sort will take wing vanish in the healing desert sunshine
wind. Anyhow looking bravely on the best side of everything, radiating loving sympathy good nature wherever you go is the
surest way to happiness good luck both in this world the next I'm sorry Wanda can be with you only another week or two, but
her visit to her Pasadena friends will also do her good, she will return all the stronger to the loved of home, perhaps find
it easier to repeat her visits as health work duty may require allow. Maggie is quite well again. Hal's boy is growing fast.
All in general in margin: well. weather warm, hills brown. Ever affectionately, John Muir
