3 reception, either to be given by our own Society singly or in cooperation diacritic with others, such as the Peary Arctic
Club and the Explorers Club (New York). In view of the brevity of the time I would venture to suggest that you should appoint
a Committee of three to determine the advisability and, if desirable, the Character of the function and to act as a Committee
of arrangements to carry it into execution. Might I further suggest that Mr. H. L. Bridgman, our fellow-member who is also
Secretary of the Peary Arctic Club, be made the Chairman of the Committee, and possibly no more advantageous method of completing
its number would offer than to ask him to choose his coadjudtors upon it. Mr. Bridgman's offices in arranging for the Club's
dinner in honor of the Duke of Abruzzo showed in him a real genius for such delicate service. With expressions of high regard
I am Yours sincerely Charles E. Fay.
