Stanton General Hospital. A most dismal day rain fallin in torrents. My press arrived today. at work all the forenoon in the
Office. In the Afternoon unpacked the Press and set out one case. feel very well. and hope soon to be at work at my [illegible].-
No letters received all day from any source.- Had no chance to write any.- A Temperance meeting was assembled in the Ward
of convalesants. Preparation to organizing a [illegible] of that Songs of [illegible] [illegible] was elected Secretary pro
tem.
