[written above date] Stanton General Hospital Washington D.C. A really splendid day. The day we celebrate in honor of that birth of the immortal Washington. At work on my press and at the case worked off 150 copies of Endersemend Blanks. Received a good but short letter from my Betrotherd [Illegible] me, full of tenderness and love, and fun. Also a good letter ((13) 13) from my friend came schoolmate (3) [Lelbbie] E. Hedges. of Rochester no letter written today. Feel much better today. Feel much better than yesterday. A division of the S. of 7. instituded this evening. Am a member my self and W. [Illegible] "Sustain the weak" ------------------------------ Wednesday, February 22. A really splendid day. Today we celebrate in honor of the birth of the immortal Washington. At work on my press and at the case, worked off 110 copies of Endorsement blanks. Received a good but short letter from my betrothed, cheering me, full of tenderness and love, also a good letter from my friend and schoolmate Libbie E. Hedges of Rochester.
