At [Ithica] all day very beautiful weather, am feeling extremely happy [illegible] the day when my darling becomes my wife. Ms. [Bishop] kindly took [illegible] and myself to the villages of Ithica [illegible] celebrated with much [illegible] a good [illegible] arrived home at 4 p.m. --------------------------------- Tuesday, July 4. At Ithica all day, very beautiful weather. Am feeling extremely happy, anticipating the day when my darling becomes my wife. Mrs. Bishop kindly took J and myself to the village of Ithica [sic].
