Rainy in the morning but very warm in the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorm in the morning. Took the afternoon to myself, rambling in the woods. Printed 150 [Illegible] of Stimulants for disensary. Feel very well but am tired. No letters received or written. ------------------------------- Wednesday, May 10. A rainy day, war news of no account. No work done today, received a letter from my friend Miss Helen M. Sweet, in the evening answered the same.
