A fine warm day. Feel well. Strong concerned of General Sherman. He gives the enemy two good [illegible] to surrender our hope he will consider a short pitchy letter from my Betrothed she has been hard at work for our suffering boys. No letters written did work for Words. Worked until 11 P.M. ------------------------------ Tuesday, April 25. A warm fine day, feel well. Strange conduct pf General Sherman, he gives the enemy too good terms to surrender on, hope he will reconsider. A short pithy letter from my betrothed, she has been hard at work for our suffering boys, no letters written, worked until 11 pm.
