Home June 9, 1908 Darling Helen. The Deed came yesterday, I suppose you got the Japan silk painting to help line your
Cabin. All goes well, Dorothy says Helen never has sent me a single letter Don't tire yourself by writing long letters, even
to me. I think a Diary with brief notes would be a pleasant amusement become valuable some day after you have made a name
for yourself, as I believe you will. Mr Coleman sold another Valona lot for 450, the rents for wharf pasture will yield you
lots of money. Millies four kittens all jet black come out of the Carriage-house every day but are very wild. Ever thine
