Menlo Park, 19 Feb., 1914 Mr John Muir: My dear Friend: This is lent to tell you that I m arrived at this place and
am, of course, wishing to see you. Where and when I must leave to your good pleasure. I feel that that I owe it to myself
to show you my work, tho' I am afraid of boring you. So, if I have the good fortune to arrange a meeting with you, I shall
bring along a couple of illegible . In half an hour you, sitting with illegible in judgment, could determine what circle of
illegible is my proper place. Yours with loyal affection Melville B Anderson Tel. Palo Alto 773 - 05711
