Home Monday Aug. 16, 1909 Darling Helen: I got home yesterday morning, feeling glad you were so well happy. No doubt you
received the last box of peaches, the last of your own for the season I fear, unless I can get a boxful from the tree by the
wood house. Wanda babes all thriving Tell the judge that the fine flowering bush is the Desert Willow Chilopsis limearis
order Bignoniace illegible . Most at home in Mexico- seldom found so far North. Be careful to keep in shade in the hottest
days, let me know everything you want. Your ever loving father John Muir
