letterhead Sep. 4 1905 Dear Mr Mrs Bailey: We all thank you very much for your kind letter of sympathy. It has helped
to cheer our loneliness. Helen is much better, with Wanda, the strong able takes long 30 mile rides without fatigue. I too
am resting here after the strain of these last eventful months. It is not true, as far as I know, that I have been critically
ill as reported in the newspapers - only deadly stunningly tired, soon I hope to take up my ordinary work. With kindest regards
