Home Dec 12. 1908 Darling Helen, Tom neglected getting the Ex orders as he promised. Yesterday he sent his brother to
Martinez to get them forgot to take the letter. So Mr Borland sent the orders. Hope they reache d? ere this. I ought to have
attended to the business myself. My heavens stars What a visit you have had, or visitation rather. That feminine schemer
has the brass money-greed acre-greed impudence etc of the very etc etc etc They complained of the cold weather Hope you were
