Los Angeles. Cal., Jan. 27, 1911. 325 West Adams Street. Mr. William E. Colby, 302 Mills Bldg., San Francisco, Cal.
Dear Mr. Colby:- I thank you for the sketch of the territory desirable as an addition to the General Grant and Sequoia National
Parks, and for your information on the king's River carriage road and the trail from the canyon up Copper Creek and down to
Tehipite. I noticed in the Chronicle a few days ago a revival of the Blue Lakes scheme for water supply for San Francisco.
What do you know of this new company? Is there anything likely to come of it that will be favorable to the preservation of
Yosemite Park? Glad to hear of the continued improvement in Keith's health. With warmest good wishes to you all, Faithfully
yours, John Muir
