view of the house, designed and constructed by Orange Contracting and Milling Company for Carl Jorn (b. 1880), husband of
Bertha Loescher and real estate and insurance businesman, as well as a member of the Orange Chamber of Commerce. One- story
Craftsman bungalow has lap siding and a double, front-facing gable roof. The main roof extends forward to form a half width
porch supported by tapered wooden squared columns on lap porch surround, and the north half has a large fixed window. A photograph
of the home is on page 54 in "Beautiful Orange Homes," a brochure from the early 1920s promoting the Orange Contracting and
Milling Company.
