SIERRA CLUB AOADEMY OF SCIENCES BUILDING, ROOM 51A SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. San Francisco, Sept. 18th, 1893. The
Directors of the SIERRA CLUB have at the meeting of September 9th, 1893, Instructed the Secretary of said Club to transmit
the following notice to the Press of the State: The SIERRA CLUB is an organization one of whose objects is to enlist the
support and co-operation of the people and the government in preserving the forests and other natural features of the Sierra
Nevada Mountains. In furtherance of this object the Club requests all persons who during this year's tourist season have observed
any destruction of trees or any other intentional injury to the natural features of the Yosemite Park Reservation, to report
the same in writing to the Secretary of the SIERRA CLUB at its office, Academy of Sciences Building, San Francisco. 09847
