We had a series of lectures recently from a Scotchman of Aberdeen, Sir William Ramsey; who is said to be one of the greatest
Archiologists of the present time. He was not a good speaker but the fire of knowledge and the love of it, were burning in
his soul 3 and in some way found expression. He was endeavoring to prove from scientific research the trustworthiness
of the New Testament principally the writings of Luke. I too am very sorry about Sarah being left alone in her little cottage.
It seems too bad at her age, even though David is so near at hand, I suppose Anna Eastman thought her duty at present is to
her growing children. It is rumored that Dan and his wife and little girl are going to leave Lincoln after all these years
and seek a new home in Oregon. They have not told us of it yet but
