Los Angeles, Cal., April 5, 1911. 325 West Adams Street. Darling Helen:- I am so delighted to get your letters and postal
Cards assuring me that all goes well. All that is required is eternal vigilance against taking cold in the changeable weather
that you have up there, and about your diet. Like yourself I have not heard from Tom or Wanda since I left.John Burroughs
is going home today, and I am very busy trying to get as much manuscript finished as possible before I go East. I have only
eight or nine days left now to work before my return to San Francisco. Tell Buel anything I can do for him up there I will
try to attend to, although I will not have very much time. With kindest regards to Buel and all the other friends there,
