THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LARAMIE, WYOMING Martinez, Cal. brFebruary 11th,1914. Mr. Raymond
Burnette Pease, Laramie, Wyo. Dear Mr. Pease: I acknowledge with sincere thanks a copy of your High Trail and of your
Realm and Reign of Mt. Tahoma I have read them both through and have greatly enjoyed the pictures you have so clearly drawn
of that grand old icyfire mountain. I have read nothing so good on our western mountains in either prose or verse. In particular
I have to thank you for your kind notice of my own mountaineering. Hoping to meet you some of these days, I am, with sincere
regards, Faithfully yours, John Muir. 05706
