Turlock Lumber Co. (Turlock, Calif.)
Description:
The Turlock Lumber Company was located next to the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks in Turlock. Planks of wood used to build
buildings are stacked up along the tracks where it was easier to load and unload onto the rail cars. The line of horse drawn
wagons of watermelons can be seen in between the lumber and the tracks. The wagons are also visible next to freight cars
on the tracks toward the back of the photograph. The driver of the third wagon back is reportedly Herbert Dison.
