Los Angeles press is on our side in the H. H. fight. The Los Angeles Times is especially influential. Had long talk with Gen
Otis. What a glorious old hero you are in this fight. Well may you do your best for the Yosemite Park for to you more than
any other it owes its existence. What a load you are carrying Don't kill yourself- but watch pray strike as you may. All as
far as I can see favors our side. Have ordered 50 copies pamphlets sent you The Outlook is capital - Here is reply to Garfield.
