1919 - 16 St., Washington Dec. 28, 1907. My dear Mr Muir: The California goodies which you so kindly sent to contribute
to the Merriam-Bailey supply of nutrient just missed Christmas and timely are continuing the good cheer into the winter. We
have just opened the nuts raisins and have divided with the Baileys - who and arrd.? a few days before Xmas. How is Helen?
Have been intending to write ever since my return, but have been under great pressure of work here also have had to go on
2 trips to New York New Haven. We hope she is entirely recovered and as frolicsome as ever. A short time after my return
from California I showed the President ten photographs of Hetch-Hetchy - yours mine some Colby gave me. He was 04001
