Daggett, Cal. March 14 - Dear Papa - I received two letters from you yesterday, one written the 11th and one the 12th.
Everything is all right now, for Mrs F. has taken me in. I ate breakfast there this morning, and am feeling very cheerful.
The boxes reached Daggett on No. 8 yesterday, but I havent got them yet. Mr Hillis the postmaster went to get them in his
wagon about four o'clock, but on account of the new nine hour law they wouldn't give them to him as it was then after three
o'clock. Mary and I are going for them now in the buggy. Dick is going to plow around my shanty so I can plant. The weather
is grand - 80 on the north side yesterday. Well Mary is ready, so I must go. Everything is all right now so dont worry. The
Van Dykes were very kind about it. Lovingly always Helen 04104
