Lakeport, Cal. July 28- 1914 Dear Mr. Muir Today I received my Sunset Magazine for August. I found an article of special
interest about you Im glad to know where you are. How comforting must be your cool, quiet, retreats away from the noisy senseless
crowd Im not going to take much of your precious time. I wish very much to know something about a plant. I will send a specimen
this mail. I would like to know the name and also the Indian name if possible. They claim that it has a great medi illegible
al value I asked one old Indian woman about ninety she replied I dunno you ask some old Indian I asked How old are you ?
