Two well dressed women with large upright hats posed on rocks atop Mount Tamalpais with panoramic background view. One of
the women is Mrs. Cutter T. Belle, but it is unknown which woman is Mrs. Belle. The mountain peak was accessible to people
wearing fine clothing due to the railroad than ran to the summit. A similar photograph that includes an unidentified man
is included on page 69 of ""Mount Tamalpais A History"" by Lincoln Fairley.
