Los Angeles, Cal., March 23, 1911. 325 West Adams Street. William E. Colby, Secretary, Sierra Club, 402 Mills Bldg.,
San Francisco, Cal. Dear Mr. Colby:- I dined with Roosevelt day before yesterday and had a good long talk with him on
the Hetch Hetchy matters. He was greatly interested and I told him that we were depending upon his help in the coming struggle
for the integrity of the Park, which he promised to give. Here is a letter that will explain itself. Give Mr. Keith my love,
and please tell me by return mall how he is. Faithfully yours, John Muir
