Martinez, April 22, 1908. Dear Mrs Arnold; I sincerely sympathize with you in your loss of a brother in you lonely vigils
with your mother in the shadow of death - a sad sorrow-laden time however natural however lighted by hope of blessed immortality
in a world free from pain To live to so grand noble an age your mother must have lived a happy life, rich in good deeds.
