Martinez, June 19, 1909 Dear Mr Anderson: I fully intended to be with you for a few days this week but no fewer than fifteen
visitors bother with a note a deed shoved all my plans agley. Next Monday or Tuesday I have to visit Helen at Daggett on
my return if nothing confounding gets in the way I'll see you before I go to the mountains hope to get you to go with me.
How good it will be to breath dream beneath a sugar pine tree Ever faithfully yours John Muir
