EDITORIAL ROOMS HOUGHTON MIFFLIN COMPANY 4 PARK STREET BOSTON June 23, 1910. Dear Mr. Muir, Thank you for your letter
of June 15th. We will plan, then, to publish the Sierra book in the early spring, as soon as it is out of the way in the
Atlantic, which will undoubtedly be by the middle of the winter. We are greatly interested in what you say of the other two
books which are nearing completion, the Yosemite Hand-Book and the book for boys. We hope you are planning to give us the
pleasure of publishing these volumes for you. We should be very sanguine indeed of wide success for both of them. Faithfully
yours, illegible John Muir, Esq. 04808
